skateboards

Skateboarding is spreading in popularity all over the world. Riders travel at speed on their wheeled skateboards and use them to pull amazing tricks. Many skaters meet at special skateboard parks that have built-in street-terrain obstacles, half pipes, slopes, and vertical ramps. If you have friends who skate, ask to try out their boards. Skateboards can be entertaining, but they can also be dangerous. Injuries to the arms, legs, head and neck are common. To prevent any injury you should always wear safety gear, including a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads. When buying a skateboard, there are usually two opinions on the subject: pre-assembled versus do-it-yourself. Skateboards have three main parts: the deck, the wheels, and the truck. If you want create your own skateboard you can buy skateboard parts separately. For beginner, it is always a good idea to buy pre-assembled skateboard. Visit stores where skateboards are sold and look at several kinds of skateboard. More expensive models are sturdier, so comparison-shop before buying.
