The president of Nassau County Deputy Presiding officer Roger Corbin (D-Westbury), joined by Stahl Eye center has announced in recognition of November being National Diabetic Eye Disease Month the Stahl Eye Center will offer a FREE screening for eye disease for anyone who has diabetes on Thursday, November 3, 2005, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at 450 Endo Boulevard, Garden City. The screenings, for which an appointment is required, will raise awareness and prevent vision loss. Eye disease is the leading cause of new cases of blindness among adults ages 20-74.
